Torah Pearls – Bereshit – Nehemia Gordon & Keith Johnson
What is the annual Torah Portion and how did it begin? What period of time is between verse one and verse two? How are we to understand that the Spirit “hovered” over the waters? What is the secret meaning behind the “aleph-tav” pronounced “et” and what is its grammatical function? If God created everything “good” then what’s with the serpent?

I hate to hound you on this matter, but you should not be listening to an unconverted Jew!
am using an imac…..and this won’t download to ‘save’…..I have some of your radio broadcasts in my itunes, and would love to get this one! Nehemia’s book Hebrew Yeshua vs.Greek Jesus is tremendous…..so….can’t find you on podcast and I am at your web site…..any ideas why I’m having an issue getting this into itunes? thanks in advance….!!!…..JoAnne
LOL, Georgia, back away from the peanut butter! …and don’t eat ET the cat!
Interesting comment from JoAnne. I know I no longer listen much to unenlightened christians. I don’t read scriptures that use j-e-s-u-s anymore. I have found Keith and Nehemia have much to offer me in training. I feel Nehemia has much to teach me as long as his Hebrew is better than mine.
Truth is truth, even if it comes from an Jew or Muslim, but there are some Christains that i do not listen to! I love Nehemia!!!
lol Georgia !!
hmmm Georgia Ridgeback? lol
It is so great to see the “two branches” together, talking about our Heavenly Father.
Doing great job
Then the children of Judah and Israel will unite, and choose for themselves one head; and they will go up from the land; for great will be the day of Jezreel.
Venikbetsu beney-Yehudah uvney-Yisra’el yachdav vesamu lahem rosh echad ve’alu min-ha’arets ki gadol yom Yizre’el.
Todah! This is a great endeavor to help those of us who are willing to go deeper into Scripture, having an openness for learning more in depth about our Creator and Ruler of this universe, and the true plan for life. I can’t wait till next week.
I hear Nehemeia just fine and Jono more strong, but Keith isn’t so loud… could you please adjust the sound? It’s either too strong or too soft. Thx.
oh, no! when I posted my comment, the broadcast stopped,
when I clicked on the arrow to start, it started over at the beginning and no way to fast forward it! :/
Enjoyed this…I have no problem listening to a Jewish man speak on his views of scripture. We have MUCH to learn from him since he is intimately aquainted with the Torah, feasts, and language of our Hebrew Heritage. He is a part of our brother Judah who has kept alive the Ways of the Father for centuries. We are arrogant to think we know everything because we have had the revelation of Yeshua as Messiah. I am one who has recently left behind the “Church” ways to persue the knowledge of my Hebrew Roots. I was once lost but now I’m found. I knew Messiah but I didn’t know HIS Ways – As the Prodigal Son story goes…”I came to my senses and have decide to return to my Father’s house…” The son that stayed in the Father’s house is the House of Judah. He’s our brother and he knows ALOT more then we do as far as knowing about the Ways of the Torah. Messiah will open the eyes of the Older Brother one day to see and understand who He is and have compassion on us his “Prodigal Sibling” who “Once was dead but now alive”. I respect our brothers who’s linage has kept alive the Feasts & Statues of our Father (& I know Judah/Jews have their issues just like the church does – that’s not my point) But I’m thankful to them for being faithful to Abba’s Ways! It would be good to listen and learn from them what we can.
Awesome Jono, todah raba!!
LOL Georgia…
HEB 5:12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you have need again for someone to teach you the elementary principles of the oracles of Elohim, and you have come to need milk and not solid food.
DEU 32:9 “For Yehovah’s portion is His people; Jacob is the allotment of His inheritance.
ACT 7:38 “This (Moses) is the one who was in the congregation in the wilderness together with the angel who was speaking to him on Mount Sinai, and who was with our fathers; and he received living oracles to pass on to you.
ROM 3:2 (What advantage has ‘the Jew’ )… Great in every respect. First of all, that they were entrusted with the oracles of Elohim.
So many Christians choose to sit at the foot of the cross, with their bottle of pabulum, rather than to enter the Kingdom of Elohim.
HalleluYAH! Well said Michelle!!
MIchelle, Yes Judah has great riches but they lack one thing. Yeshua spoke of them and said it is still possible for them to enter the kingdom for with Yah all things are possible. 🙂 He has not shut up the kingdom from these men. But are they willing to sell all they have and follow after Yeshua?
And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
Luke 18:19 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.
20Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother.
21And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up.
22Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, YET YOU LACK ONE THING sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.
23And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich.
24And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
25For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
26And they that heard it said, Who then can be saved?
27And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
Steven, the reason I published you comment here is because I want people to see that the “riches” Michelle is referring to is that Judah is “intimately aquainted with the Torah, feasts, and language of our Hebrew Heritage… & the statutes of our Father.” What you are saying is that they should sell it all and follow Yeshua.
Are you saying they should sell their inheritance to follow Yeshua? But isn’t their inheritance – Torah, YHVH’s statues, feasts, commands; Aren’t those things – Yeshua? The problem with Judah is that their eyes have not been open to see Yeshua AS these things therefore do not recognize him as their Saviour.
And so it is with the Church – They see Yeshua as Messiah, Saviour of the World but do not have a clue that they are throwing their inheritance away by saying the “The Law/Torah, feasts, statues” are not for today and no longer valid.
It’s like both are blind to the importance of both because you can’t know or have one without the other because they are One in the Same. You cannot separate Messiah from Torah because he is the Living Word made flesh and you cannot dismiss the Torah as irrelevant because it is who Messiah IS.
Wonderful discussion gents!
What’s the latest age of the universe? Somewhere around 20 billion years old last I heard. I could believe that because here on earth we are in theory viewing time by looking back from earth’s position in time and space. Time would look very different from the beginning looking forward though. So creation may have actually been a literal six days.
The universe is expanding and the space within it stretches, and the stretching of space totally changes the perception of time from our point of view. According to Einstein’s theory anyways 😉
Can’t wait until next week.
Quote from: Michelle
“You cannot separate Messiah from Torah because he is the Living Word made flesh and you cannot dismiss the Torah as irrelevant because it is who Messiah IS”
John 15:10-12, explains this. The Messiah, kept the Torah “ I have kept my Father’s commandments”, But even though The Messiah, Yeshua, is God and one with Father God, “ye keep my commandments”, it is written in John, that Jesus kept the Torah (Perfectly), now we are to keep the Messiah’s Commandments, which is to love one another, as he has loved you. The Messiah is saying, “I have kept my Father’s commandments” He did not say you have. He says to keep His commandment. Which is to love one another. All the law is summoned up in loving the God with all your heart and loving one another. Jesus is the fulfilment of the Torah. He fulfilled what we never could. (The man who was God, Who’s blood flowed and he died for His Nation and also for the gentiles as well). Hence we do not need to do animal sacrifices anymore, for our stuff ups. We can now live by Yeshua’s and the Fathers, Holy Spirit. To live an impossible life, including overcoming sin, that only God can do. He can do it through us, by his spirit. Not by our useless, dismal and failing overcoming ability and will power : )
John 15:10-12
10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.
11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
Gal 5:14
For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Galatians 3:11
But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
James 2:10
For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

Galations 3:1-3
1 foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?
2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
Acts 16:28-32
28 But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here.
29 Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas,
30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
32 And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.
Romans 5:1-2
1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

John 15:4-5
4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

B’shem Yeshua, Amein!
Michelle – I fully agree with your comment below:
“It’s like both are blind to the importance of both because you can’t know or have one without the other because they are One in the Same. You cannot separate Messiah from Torah because he is the Living Word made flesh and you cannot dismiss the Torah as irrelevant because it is who Messiah IS.”
That is the problem… we can’t divorce one from the other and receive the fullness of the blessing.
Andre – these have never heard of Messiah or Torah and also receive the “fullness of the blessing”
“For not the hearers of the Torah are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the Torah will be justified; for when Gentiles, who do not have theTorah, by nature do the things in the Torah, these, although not having the Torah, are a Torah to themselves, who show the work of theTorah written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them.”

I hate to hound you on this matter, but you should not be listening to an unconverted Jew! ( since when does Jews need to convert ? )
Steven,
Nehemiah believes in keeping Torah.
Nehemiah believes in Mashiach just as we do. The only difference is that he has not yet come to recognize Yeshua Himself as the Mashiach.
Yes, I know that is very important but He believes exactly as we do other than that. He believes the Prophets and the Writings and He is looking for Mashiach to come.
Try and show a little brotherly love and patience. It is the rejectionist attitude that centuries of anti-semitism among so called “Christians” that has developed into this war of beliefs.
If your mother or wife believed nearly everything that you believe to be essential but failed to see one spiritual truth that you see, would you reject them, break fellowship with them, refuse to listen to them or consider everything they have to say as without value because they do not believe 100% as you do?
Are you praying for Nehemiah? Do you love him? I admonish you to do a spiritual checkup of yourself before you continue your practice of rejecting everyone who understands Nehemiah and appreciates his knowledge of Torah.
Yes, I know it is necessary to try the spirits. A spirit who fails to accept that Yeshua is Mashiach come in the flesh is a spirit we should reject. However, we are not to reject the person totally nor are we to shun him as if he has no knowledge at all or nothing of value to add to our understanding. Nor are we to fail to love him and pray for him. You will never win a man by a spirit of rejection. It takes love Steven.
I personally honor and respect Nehemiah for having the GRACE to continue to fellowship with us and try to teach us in the atmosphere and spirit of rejection so prominent in the Christian Churches and quite frankly from persons like yourself.
The Remnant – that is true… but you still left of the remainder of Paul’s thought….. if that was the case there would be no need for a Messiah…. you have to look at the context he was speaking.
‘You will never win a man by a spirit of rejection.’
David, I think Yeshua and the Father have shown plenty of love and they are not begging anyone to be saved. Yeshua is not sitting in heaven wringing his hands, sweat on his brow in anxiety, worrying about who is going to get saved. He already knows all his sheep and calls them all by name. Man should be trying to WIN YHVH not the other way around. Think of the parable where the King who did not have enough army to wage a battle against a stronger king and his ambassador ran out and made peace while he was still far off. Luke 14
If men don’t hear the Father, they won’t hear the Son or the Holy Spirit, they sure won’t hear me so stop trying to control my “practice”. You do not know my heart and your accusations of my hating a man has risen right up before God. You had better check your own heart.
Personally, I am going to obey Abba to be Holy, separate from sinners NOT BECAUSE I hate Nehemia and NOT BECAUSE I am anti=Semitic but because I am obeying the first commandment to Love God. That includes his commandment to come out and be separate. It is impossible to love God with all your heart and remain unholy, un-separated from the world.
When and if you receive a call to holiness you will understand the work of the Holy Spirit. Then you will understand the sword of division. NOT peace but a sword. Do not despise the sword or you despise the one who welds it.
Jono…Nehemia…Keith – this thread’s great ongoing discussion aside (ha), I have to tell you how your decision to discuss the Torah portion weekly has affected my house. I have been Torah observant for about 2 years now, a gradual learning process, and my husband has been respectful but noncommittal (we attend an evangelical church).
We’ve had numerous (mostly) friendly discussions, he’s attended the local congregation with me and loved it, but I think resistance to change, and therefore unwillingness to study it through, is the main thing.
A couple months ago on a trip I had him listen with me to the “A Prayer to Our Father” interview and he really warmed up to Keith and Nehemia; he loved their rapport, scholarship, Keith’s Methodist background (my husband was raised UM), and the book’s concept. Keith’s reading the prayer in Hebrew at the end brought him to tears. Since then he’s mentioned several times about wanting the book and we had plans to see the 2 of you in Lancaster PA last month but finances ultimately dictated otherwise.
Anyway, in the course of one of our discussions recently he offered to read through Torah by the end of the year, which was exciting enough.
Then there you are, the 3 of you, starting the new Torah cycle and saying you’ll be discussing the portion weekly. I asked him last night if he would be willing to listen every week as he goes through Torah himself and he responded with a hearty sure! Truly, you’re the only people to whom he’d react with enthusiasm and you’re making it a regular thing. Just fantastic.
steven…. do not alienate those around you wether at work, home or going about the King’s business
“Now it happened, as Jesus sat at the table in the house, that behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Him and His disciples.
And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to His disciples, “Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”
“And I, Daniel, fainted and was sick for days; afterward I arose and went about the king’s business”
The remnant: You tell me not to alienate those around me? My discussion is concerning holiness and began at the time Nehemia and Keith said they were going to Mosques and praying to YHVH (which disgusted me and grieved the Holy Spirit, as his name is to be sanctified which can not be done in that manner and definitely not in a mosque that preaches “god has no son”) and they announced their decision to “tear down walls between religions”. Before that I had never said a word against Nehemia or Keith anywhere or at any time but had been a supporter, ignorance of what they were up to until they announced it.
I prayed about it because it disturbed me greatly and I believe I heard the Holy Spirit say to me that he did not send them to pray in mosques the name of YHVH which is sacred, or to tear down walls he himself (Ruach haKodesh) put in place. It was then that I believe I heard from the Holy Spirit that the wall he has put in place is not between Islam on one side and Jews and Christians on the other. (which I had supposed) The wall the Holy Spirit has put in place is between those who believe in Yeshua as Messiah and keep the commandments and those who don’t.
The work of the Holy Spirit is to separate out from the world those who are the sheep of the Sheppard who is Yeshua and make them HOLY UNTO THE LORD. The other part of that work is to KEEP OUT THOSE NOT ACCEPTABLE. You may think that too strong but it is exactly what Yeshua taught. Only those the Father draws may come to the Son and only those who come to the Son have the Father. It is OFFENSIVE because it was meant to be. That is what it means to be a “stumbling stone” and “rock of offense”. If anyone is offended by this message it is because they are offended in YESHUA, not me. For all I know Nehemia will be drawn one day, that is between him and the Father and not up to me. If he becomes converted we may become best friends, who know?
The Holy Spirit’s work is to draw together into one, a people of every tribe tongue and nation and make them one in Messiah. And it is exactly meant to keep out those without faith in Messiah, those who he has not called, or given his Holy Spirit. I don’t pretend to know a mans end, he will end up where he is supposed to.
What am I against? Ecumenicalism. Co-existing with “other religions” or “other gods” which if you believe the Tanakh is a regular practice with Israel (of whom I am one by the way) right up to the return of Yeshua. Tearing down walls between the holy and the common is forbidden by the Ruach haKodesh. When people actually get around to reading the Tanakh they will see what trouble Israel continues in due to not obeying our Father to separate from the nations. That reason for the commandment was given by Yah that they would be drawn away from him, which is exactly what has happened. I am not trying to agree to disagree or go along to get along. I am heading for the Kingdom and not taking any unbelievers with me.
Are you disturbed that while I, a brother in Christ filled with the holy spirit, speak up for holiness and the commandments of YHVH, am met with snide sarcastic remarks, and accusations of hatred and anti-Semitism. (I know what spirit is so against holiness?)
David, your questioning and comment and corrections are familiar to me. Your tactic, to change the discussion away from it’s context of “holiness” to personal attacks is one I am familiar with. If it makes you feel better to “FRAME” the discussion away from Yah’s word on how we are to be holy and what is expected of a believer, to my personal character for the purpose of making yourself look superior go right ahead. You should know I see through it to what is the real spirit behind your words.
You want to make yourself appear “loving” while insinuating I am not, and you want everyone to know YOU are not anti-Semitic while insinuating I am. You want people to see that YOU are showing “brotherly love and patience” and that YOU don’t have a rejectionist attitude and YOU are not a “so called Christian” so you can look good in front of others and you do it at my expense. You want people not only to believe I don’t pray for Nehemia but YOU DO and that I don’t love him but YOU DO. Yah knows who I pray for and how much love I have, but if you want to be my judge…..
Your comment that we should not fail to love and pray for him was said to put me down as though I I have failed while at the same time lift yourself up and show everyone that you do.
Well, maybe you DO have more brotherly love and patience than me but let’s not reframe the discussion to personal things you have no way of knowing about me but assume.
Here is the episode that Steven is referring to, enjoy!
Steven,
Forgive me for stepping on your holiness. I thought as brothers we were to hold one another accountable.
David, I forgive you, no worries! 🙂
Steven, I agree with you on going to a mosque to preach the name of YHVH. What’s next? Going to preach the name of YHVH in a Buddhist-temple or Catholic mass?
It is good that the name of YHVH is preached but we should remember that a mosque is a pagan-temple of a pagan moon-god. In that sense there’s no difference between a mosque, church of satan or a Hindu-temple.
A traditional Christian church is a pagan temple too. I would not go to a church either.
All pagan temples are unclean places filled with unclean spirits. We should separate ourselves from all unclean things no matter how untolerant or narrow-minded people would see us.
There’s very high cost in being set-apart to YHVH in all matters. I don’t care what people think. I want to care only about what the Father thinks and what pleases Him.
Steven- thank you for clarifying about praying in the mosques, I did not realize that’s what you were referring to.
The prophet Daniel teaches us where to bend the knee and where not to, even under the threat of death.
It also pleased me to hear you say “I don’t pretend to know a man’s end, he will end up where he is supposed to” because that is exactly how Peter referred to Judas as he was being replaced, acknowledgIing YHVH as Judge.
Acts 1:25 “to receive the share of this ministration and apostleship, from which Judas, by transgression, did fall, to go on to his proper place”
Yeshua said that He came to the spiritually sick, not the healthy. He chose to eat among the tax collectors and sinners in order to accomplish that. The self righteous pharisees and Torah teachers found fault with Him for doing it.
I came to know Yeshua in a church. Now I am being told that I should not go back there to proclaim the Name of YHVH? The Christian Churches are filled with our brothers and sisters who are unenlightened to the truth of Torah but I should not go there to tell the truth?
Perhaps I am missing something here. Yeshua prayed to the Father that we not be taken out of the world but be protected from the evil that is in the world. Do you not think that He would be with us whether in a Synagogue, Church, or Mosque or anywhere that souls of men are being destroyed by the lies of the enemy?
I agree that pagan temples are places where we are NOT to participate but to go there as witness to the truth seems to me to be the very thing that Yeshua would have done. He would have been run out and they would have attempted to stone Him but He would have done it. He didn’t seem to mind touching the leper who was unclean or the woman with the issue of blood.
I suppose its possible that I just haven’t gotten pure enough yet that I see the need to isolate myself from those who need Yeshua most.
I hope I am not stepping on anyones holiness again.
1. Thank you Jono.
2. Thank you NechemYahu.
3. Thank you Keith, but can you step up on the audio?
My bottom line is way off topic, do forgive me sisters and brothers, but here it is —-
Facebook is screwed up. Nuff said.
‘I hope I am not stepping on anyones holiness again.’
The day is coming soon when a true “fear of Yah” will be instilled in the assembly by Elijah. Wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord. If we had this wisdom and holy reverence already he would not have to bring it to us.
I will give an account of every word, may I only write in the “fear of Yah”.
David,
The Father called me to holiness, so he knows I am holy. My holiness was accomplished in Yeshua, so he knows I am holy. The accomplishment was done by the Ruach haKodesh, so he knows I am holy. I was the one who was commanded to follow and left my nets so to speak, so I know I am holy. My close friends and family recognize I left the world to be separated and follow Yeshua by the Spirit, so they know I am holy. I have the testimony of Yeshua and keep the commandments.
Seeing my holiness is commanded and accomplished of the Father (this is my beloved son, hear ye him), the Son (follow me, become ye perfect) and the Holy Spirit (he will lead you into all truth) and I have more than 3 witnesses, do you think it wise to mock what was ordained and accomplished by Abba himself?
You may think you are funny but I assure you I don’t and Yeshua does not. What ever do you think to accomplish by mocking my holiness?
Kadosh=holiness=”set apart”
When we act in holiness is when we are acting in a set apart manner. That is to be in the world but NOT OF THE WORLD!
It is to act in obedience to Torah.
It is not something that can be seen, felt, or heard outside of obedience.
There are many Christian Churches who call themselves “Holiness Churches” who define it by the way one dresses or if they say thee and thou etc. But, they teach that Torah has been done away with by Yeshua and Paul.
They make up their own rules (traditions of men) and say that those who follow their rules are “holy.”
When we enter covenant with YHVH/Yeshua through tshuvah we are given the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) and when we walk in obedience to the Ruach HaKodesh we are walking in holiness. The Ruach HaKodes is not going to lead us to follow traditions of men, no matter how “holy” men think they are. He only leads us in obedience to Torah!
I strive to be obedient and when I am successful I am “Holy” or “Set Apart” and seperate from the world. It may not look like what some folks call holiness but if I am obeying Torah it makes no difference what others believe holiness is.
If I see a brother or sister engaging in action, conversation or attempting to teach others and I recognize it as not in keeping with Torah it is my duty to warn the person. If he or she considers it to be an act of judgment rather than an act of brotherly love then it is confirmed that the spirit that is being admonished is actually in need of admonishment.
A humble servant of Mashiach will recoginze the truth and make the necessary correction and thank the brother who pointed out the error. If it is a misunderstood or incorrect admonishment, then the one receiving it should humbly and lovingly show the person where he was mistaken.
It is never a sign of holiness to come back in a hateful or spiteful manner and hurl all sorts of accusations at the brother who was only trying to point out a way to go up higher.
I was simply trying to show you that I see area in your conversation that appear to me to be unloving and unholy. You can handle it any way you wish and you can make all the judgments about me that makes you happy. YHVH knows my heart. I will pray for you, however, I do apologize if I have indeed stepped on your professed holiness.
If your response to me above was coming from a heart that fits into your definition of holiness, I must confess that I have very serious concerns about your definition of the word.
I am sorry if I seem blunt. I do not wish to be unkind or unloving. I only wish to see you move up higher brother.
Shalom! How beautiful and so refreshing for brethren in Torah to come together to have such midrash, sharing their personal knowledge and experience of ET Word-the Two Houses united in ABBA our Almighty Creator Whom we as one love!
We love you, Nehemia, and thank you for humbly being on the radio talks. We have much to learn from you and other ‘Jewish’ folks like you and Joel, Jono’s Hebrew teacher.
We were invited to a traditional ‘Jewish’ Sukkot service, when he heard of my learning Hebraic Scriptures, and to his (the Rabbi’s) home twice, but he misunderstood me as ‘on the way to conversion’ (as to Judaism) and that I could turn off the family’s stove fires that he was not to do. He was excited that I was so interested in the Hebrew language and could sing the traditional songs they sang, that David and I keep kosher, and the Feasts of YHWH, and had a sukkah built in the garden.
I am just excited that we could come together and not expect the other to ‘convert’, but in time the Two Houses will be re-gathered! Amein!
Thanks Jono, and Keith.
May Yah bless you David! 🙂
What a blessing this was for me this day!
Only Yah knows why I tuned in to have a listen and ears to hear..
Thank you very much!
David, by a “traditional church” I mean a Catholic / Lutheran (you name it) church-buildings (cathedrals and so on). They are pagan temples from tip to toe and full of unclean spirits. It is up to us do we want to enter these religious / spiritual “graves” full of all kind of filth.
If people are interested about the Truth they will surely leave their churches and (bad) traditions. But I would not be a problem for me to enter a evangelical “congregation” (building) to share my testimony about the Torah / Hebrew roots, but I would not enter a cathedral or some sort to do that.
What is holiness? Is it good behavior or obedience? How can I give my good behavior to dogs?
Matthew 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
David, What does it mean to be anointed, consecrated and sanctified? What does it mean when it is written they (Aaron and Sons) should be dressed in these garments “that they bear not iniquity”? (Ex 28) Surely as all men are sinners, these could not be “holy” according to your correction of me?
And thou shalt put them upon Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him; and shalt anoint them, and consecrate them, and sanctify them, that they may minister unto me in the priest’s office. And thou shalt make them linen breeches to cover their nakedness; from the loins even unto the thighs they shall reach: And they shall be upon Aaron, and upon his sons, when they come in unto the tabernacle of the congregation, or when they come near unto the altar to minister in the holy place; that they bear not iniquity, and die: it shall be a statute for ever unto him and his seed after him.
What does it mean that Aaron will bear the lawlessness of the holy things?
And you also Steven!
May we both grow in grace and in the love of Yeshua HaMashiach!
Great stuff, but we’re not able to hear Keith clearly, even turning up the volume, he is fuzzy!! The pearls are there tho’ and thank you for them, Yehovah. Shalom and Blessings to you all.
