Thank you! Thank you for sharing your journey, Dev! What a blessing! And thank you Jono for treading this path. As for me, let me just say, its time! Yes, keep going! Put all the information on the table. Allow the listeners, the “God Chasers”, to have as much information as possible in order to determine YWHW’s ancient path. And let me thank you again for the work you do at Truth2U. May YHWH bless you and keep you and give you His shalom.

And YES!! I would LOVE to hear another Jewish perspective!!!
Thank you and blessing on you all!!!

    Shalom Jono:
To your question concerning a possibility of bringing a rabbi or teacher in to answer some questions we have. I think it is a great idea!
The more we share God’s Word, the closer we are to Him.

Terrific program. Dev is her normal delightful self and Jono and Channi certainly bring such wonderful questions to the table to round out the show.Thank you all so much for this special time.

I do not need to be a part of ANY organized religion in order to be “in” in the eyes of our Heavenly Father. Just faith in Him and His Son and then obedience. He promised to bring me back to His land, thank you.

As for giving anti-missionaries another outlet to be themselves, go for it. A little preparation will help, perhaps “The Anti-Missionary Handbook” by Rabbi Moshe Yoseph Koniuchowsky ( not saying I agree with everything by him or that is in the .pdf).

It’s just that I used to be so open minded my brains fell out, wouldn’t want that to happen to others if I can help it!

    Isa 61:10 and Eph 6:11-19

    YHVH bless you,

  8. Jeremy Childs says

Do it, Jono! Bring on the counter-missionary interview! I’m always willing to stand in the way, observe the information and make an informed decision! The more we are able to differentiate between the word of Yehovah and the words of men, the better off we’ll be to decisively follow the God of our choosing, whether it be Yehovah or someone else (like ourselves).

You’ve got my support in this endeavor, brother! Yehovah bless you!

  9. Jeff Hill says

Anyone else see the elephant in the room?

As a Karaite convert, I presume one must deny the Deity of the Messiah Y’shua?

I could quote many verses from the Tanakh and the 1st Century Writings, but if one does not believe in Messiah Y’shua, I would be wasting time.

  10. James Hayman says

Thank you Jono for the question. My answer is yes please keep going. My own journey has been similar to Bev’s but I have retained my strong belief that our Messiah has already come once and will return for us as promised.

The question I would ask of anyone who believes in the Elohim of Israel is given the account in Daniel and the events easily ascertained from History why would anyone doubt that the promised Messiah hadn’t already come. Once that is established it becomes possible to look in Isaiah and see the dual nature of the suffering servant and the powerful King being the same descendant of David. You don’t need the New Testament to establish the timeline and mission of YHWH’s sent one.

I am at a big disability since I don’t speak or read Hebrew well enough to talk knowledgeably about this subject but if the English Bibles available are close to correct in Daniel chapter nine about that timeline, how can that be dismissed by Rabbinic Judaism?

I love the programs YHWH is providing through you and your wonderful wife. I pray Elohim’s choicest blessings for y’all. I wish I could contribute financially but money here is so tight.

I also live in Texas in Caldwell County southeast of Austin and I also long for the day when I and my Family can be surrounded by those who seek Elohim’s truth in its fulness.

    Blessings, Jim

  11. Krisi says

Yes, I would like to know what they look for in the Messiah. What is his role and do they literally think Yehovah’s feet will be the ones touching down on Mount Sinai (if He has no form and no one can see Him without dying)? I have never heard what they expect from the Messiah and how they think to recognize him and if he will be considered a “savior” sent by Yehovah (who is the ultimate savior). I would love to hear all about this. I am seeking truth and keeping in prayer on everything knowing obstacles will make me stronger. Thanks.

  12. Krisi says

Being you think you can get an anti-missionary Rabbi, I would also like to know what Ira believes and why also…so I can see both perspectives (I’m assuming nonbeliever vs believer in Yeshua..not a debate but would like to hear both perspectives) while you are wanting to hear what we would like 🙂

  13. Micah says

Thank you Jono (and all your guests) once again for all you do to make the truth of YHVH known. These programs have been an incredible blessing to me.
Yes, I think it would be an excellent idea to invite an anti-missionary to speak. There are so many questions I would like to hear answers to.
But would it be possible to allow a Messianic teacher to speak as well, to answer the same questions? I am NOT interested in hearing a debate. I would simply like to hear both perspectives on the issue. After all, one cannot find the truth without examining all the evidence.
Thanks again and may YHVH bless all of you!

  14. Stacy Chapman says

I hate to be controversial but there is no other way to ask this. I have always wandered how the Karaites can respect Yahushua as a Rabbi when if they don’t believe he was The Messiah then they would have to believe he is a liar??? I mean no offense but I would REALLY like to understand things like this. May YHWH bless all who are seeking Truth and lead us and guide us into ALL Truth.

  15. Chava says

    Hi Jono!

To really round out your program, may I suggest –rather than anti-missionary /anti-Yeshua guest— hey what about something really different from your other guests, and have a believer in Yeshua Messiah ?!

Let that guest discuss the overwhelming evidence for Yeshua as Messiah.

Thanks for asking your listeners for our ideas! While I enjoy and appreciate the Tanach, I want to hear more about the Brit Hadasha and haven’t heard anything there for a very, very long time. Like maybe years? I seem to remember Rico Cortes on the show back when. And I think you also had Brad Scott on some while ago.

  16. Devorah the Kultured Karaite says

    Shalom Stacy,
Just from my perspective, I certainly can not answer for all Karaites, but I am not calling him a liar by any means. I actually don’t quite understand your statement but I am going to make a try here…..

We only worship Yehovah. Since NO one will worship the 2 *messiah(s) that Yehovah anoints and places in His kingdom to come, I am not sure why waiting to see who messiah is, is a problem? It doesn’t matter who the messiah (king) is until the kingdom is established by Yehovah and then, whoever it is, no one will be happier than me…..no matter who it is. I certainly trust Yehovah to choose his very best. We only worship Yehovah, never a man. The two to come are men. Or at least that what Scripture says.
*messiah(s) – see Zechariah chapter 4….2 sons of oil, King & High Priest

    Shabbat Shalom,
    Dev

  17. Anthony Cummings says

Great interview. I truly appreciate when people can share their background stories in the journey they currently on without others getting offended. I say, bring on the counter-missionary Jono for educational purposes if the person is willing, respectful, and honest. After all, if we can try and meet one another where we are currently, whether we agree or disagree, we can all at least learn some insight from one another journey and choices thereof.

Again, thank you for all you do Jono.

    -Anthony

P.S. – Are you stilltoughing it out with Yoel in Biblical Hebrew? This month makes one year that I have been tutored by him, and we still havent gotten through the verbal system, but I’m hanging in there as our Father allows the finances to do so. I truly appreciate the time I get to be tutored by Yoel. Precious teacher and friend.

*Deep breath* – Now to catch up on homwork. 🙂

  18. David George says

Jono, how could you have a Karaite on your program, who was coverted from Methodism, and not ask the one most important question? Which is, “Since Karaites don’t receive Yeshua as the Messiah, did you have to renounce belief in Yeshua?” How could you not ask that? How? And secondly, if she did renounce him, why would she do that? Come on, Jono, how about asking the hard questions? The only reason I turned away from pursuing the possibility of conversion to Karaism myself is because I learned that they are not messianic.

    Shalom, David

  19. Laurie Jo says

I come from a slightly Presbyterian background, and the world around me keeps the first day of the week and pagan holy days which are disguised as good. I prooved to myself that I needed to keep the Sabbath from friday sundown to sat. sundown and at the same time began to learn about the other Sabbaths and kept them too. I have never once kept a Feast according to the Jewish calendar. I so much appreciate N. Gordon and M. Rood’s work to restore the Creator’s Calendar and agree with them. This journey, which includes the Sabbaths and Torah, began for me in around 2006. Before that I was searching.

The Father instructed me to begin my study in the book of Genesis (Bereshith). …so I listened. Yahushua said, If you love me keep my commands. I know that his commands are the ones his Father gave him which are recorded in the TeNaK.

I heard about M. Rood and learned how Yahushua was LITERALLY in the tomb 3 days and 3 nights, NOT according to Christian tradition which is certainly mingled with paganisim. Thankfully the Bible I read, which contains the TeNaK and the Re-newed Covenant and life of Yahushua and his taight ones teachings for whom I am so thankful, is true.

I began my journey into truth as a person whose heart was not indoctrinated into any religion, although I had experienced several Christian religions by that time, but never felt at home in any of them. I was never fooled by the church enough to want to join in fully like I hear so many confused Messianics were and are.

After years of deep study “on my own” along with Yahushua’s words which always confirm Torah, I finally have shalom. In the world there is tribulation, but my heart if filled with shalom.

I do not feel a desire to learn from the Talmud, or the Catacisim, the Buddist, the Kuran, or any other religion. In fact, I hate all religion since it is religion that keeps YAH’s people separate. I prefer to learn from the place where we were all commanded to meet.

I have learned a lot considering the tower of Babel and the message of EliYahu to come out of Babel.

Jono, your are free to explore whatever religion you want. We have that gift called free will. I see that there are a few who would like to learn from people who wrongly call themselves Rabbi, even if they are my brothers. We can choose our friends but we can’t choose our relatives.

Yahushua was against man-made religion, and so am I.

My personal opinion is that the so called Rabbis are just as confused as the Poop himself. I do not believe the Poop has anything to teach me, and in fact, I would love to tell him to go straight to hell, because that is where false teachers go anyway because the Poop, like the Pharisees, actually block the Ruach from reaching the people with their false traditions and man-made commands.

I am Ephrayim, and I am not a convert. I inherited the promise of the Covenant from my forefathers, and was woken up by Yahushua’s message, and that of ELiYahu. I do not have “paperwork” except for the TeNaK and the testimony of Yahusua. What else do I need? I do not seek the approval of men, only YHWH.

I am thankful for Truth2You and for your openess to learn. We do need one another.

  20. Hanré Lass says

Jono. I think I agree most with Micah.

No debates please, but certainly both views are imperative. I have found in my own journey of more than 7 years that it can be very difficult to keep perspective in the ‘Hebrew Roots Movement’ when we have all these wonderful teachers that do not see Messiah as I do. Hearing the messianic perspective too would be great.

That might be another huge can of worms too as there is so much controversy out there. But you don’t seem to fear cans nor worms!

  21. LKelly says

Some people love to quote that they do not fear either “demons, powers, or principalities of the air” .. but then they get all squeamish about cans and worms. From my experience, that generally stems from the misunderstanding that conflict and disagreements are “bad” and “should be avoided.”

I have found one can embrace “wrestling with scriptures” as a JOY! Indeed, it is our collective calling as Believers in YHVH to study and learn – to dive deep, to trace our roots, to find our firm foundation!

It can be scary at times, but we must embrace our fear and allow the light of Truth to take us where TRUTH Thrives and not where we -think- our path will go!

You are not asking people to blanket agree with anyone you put on the program, you are challenging them to look at information, then go and search it out for themselves! I love that and can stand firmly with you to that goal.

I pray all your listeners go forth BOLDLY to travel the ancient paths, for that journey is the most meaningful and important one they can ever travel, and the destination is soul-changing!

(p.s. the monosyllabic version of that answer is “yes!” ^_^ )

  22. Carla says

I have been listening in on your teachings for about 2 months now and have been very blessed. Being a truth seeker is sometimes a lonely path to walk and I’m glad to have found a place to listen to others who are also truth seekers. Their testimonies encourage me to continue to seek truth no matter the obstacles. Keep up the good work. YHVH bless you and your ministry!

  23. Devorah the Kultured Karaite says

    Shalom David George,
I think I make it clear above in my post and am certainly not afraid to answer the question that….no, I don’t believe Yeshua is messiah, nor anyone else at this point. It should be clear that in my journey and conversion, I certainly do reject my former “teachings” and beliefs and have embraced the truth of the Tanach as written. I reject doctrines and men’s theology in favor of what Yehovah says.

David, you get to see it your way for you and after extensive research, I get to see it my way and make a choice for, me and me alone. I hope you can respect that.
    Shalom,
    Dev

  25. Krisi says

Devorah, I’m not sure why you don’t believe in Yeshua as Messiah but I think many Karaites see that what Yeshua said was truth. I would also like to add that since taking on Torah and rereading the New Testament in context with it, I see that Yeshua never claimed he was the Father..He always states the Father was greater than Him, and that He did nothing without the Father. 1 Corinthians 15 makes it clear that Yeshua will be giving up the kingdom back to the Father after the 1000 year Millineum reign (which death will be the last enemy destroyed). I believe Hebrews is highly misunderstood and I am still learning but have come to the knowledge that there will in fact be a temple in the millinium reign with sacrifices but once the kingdom is given back over to the Father (after the millinium reign of Yeshua) there will then be no need for a temple because we will have a new heaven and new earth in which we will be in the presence of the Father !! I think Hebrews is showing Yeshua is NOT the high priest on this earth (as it says He is not of the line of Levitical priests) but He is the High Priest of the world to come! The holy area represents this world; veil represents millinial reign; and holy of holies represents world to come..and through Messiah is how we get there! He was not a kosher sacrifice and I think this is where many stumble because He was not a sacrifice for “this world” but the world to come. Just as the goat was to be killed in the holy area of the temple…Yeshua was killed in “this world” but the sprinkling occurred in the holy of holies “world to come” shadow pictures.

  26. Krisi says

As it also states his flesh is the veil (which is what allows us entry to the holy of holies). Hope this makes sense lol

  27. Jeff Hill says

If there are any of you who have started questioning the mediator of the re-newed covenant, Y’shua, might I suggest “A Prophet Like Unto Moses” at Yah-Tube.com under Rico Cortes.

I do not worship a man, I worship the Father by means of Faith and His covenant, mediated by the Rock in the Wilderness, His Mighty Arm, whose blood covers my sin, and in whom I put my Trust in His resurrection power.

    jh

  28. James Robertson says

    Shalom Jono.
I presume you already have an anti missionary rabbi in mind? Tovia Singer perhaps… used to listen to him occasionally while he had links from Arutz Sheva, had not even noticed he had gone AWOL! But you have him as a friend on facebook… so do you already have it all planned out? Go for it brother, stir up the controversy.
    YHVH bless you and Chani
    James

  29. Chava says

Not sure if you’re accepting any further posts on the subject–but if you are, I really am wondering Jono… are you a Karaite?

I never see where you say clearly whether you believe Yeshua is Messiah. It seems to me a fair question, to use your words…. you do host a program about G-d interviewing guests who are not shy about their personal faiths; and, you have asked your listeners if we want to hear an anti-missionary/anti-Yeshua.

Hope to hear your clear answer!

  30. Jeff Hill says

We have been given free will and are given choices, I choose Life, I am not ashamed of Him. The same Spirit of Truth given to me to exercise, causing me to test and come out of the Church mentality, is still with me. Too many stop exercising it once they have left the Church. The Church is not the only “beast” we have to test.

Truth has borders, outside of truth are lies.

  31. John Holsti says

I’d love to hear from a counter missionary. I agree with the seeming consensus that a friendly discussion format is way more productive than a debate with winners and losers. You are the man for the job. I have rarely heard someone talk to these issues with such a non confrontational attitude.

I’ve heard Rico Cortes say he struggled with this issue. Perhaps you could convince him to comment on the air. Shalom.

  32. Suzy Robinson says

I ehco the concern of Jeff Hill

As a Karaite convert, I presume one must deny the Deity of the Messiah Y’shua?

I too want to live in The Land
however not at the expense of my Testimony of Yeshua.

I love the Torah Perals and I do not believe myself a “Christian or a Jew” as I see my self a Scriputralist (Karaite) who believes in the whole book(s) Genisis thru Revelation

  33. jono vandor says

    G’day Chava,

Thank you for your comments. Just to be clear, I did not ask the listeners if they “want to hear an anti-missionary/anti-Yeshua”. Rather, I asked them if they would like to have the opportunity to ask a counter missionary Rabbi any Tanakh related question in order to evaluate a wider range of information that they do not usually get to consider.

I have made this offer available to the listeners because I have observed that such information is usually shut down by the “spiritual border patrol” who instinctively feel threatened whenever they have no control over the freedom of information. The “spiritual border patrol” automatically resort to labelling and/or incriminating that which threatens them while demanding “approved” information that agrees with their theology. Sometimes, and I have observed this again recently, they will even break Torah by spreading a false report about somebody in order to discredit the information offered.

I have greater respect for my listeners. I believe I have a responsibility to freely supply information for my listener’s evaluation. I believe my listeners, like me, have the ability to study well in the Scriptures and not rely on the opinions of my guests. Moreover, I know my listeners do not feel comfortable submitting to man made religious boundaries. Indeed they are ultimately accountable to God alone for the conclusions they arrive at regarding their faith. As such, they ought to respect the conclusions of others even when they may differ.

Nevertheless, it is my hope that those who are insecure in their faith and feel threatened by the freedom of information on Truth2U will continue to listen as they too should not underestimate or limit their God given ability to reason with the Scriptures and discern Truth.

  34. LKelly says

If my support wasn’t clear, I will re-state: I believe this idea meshes very well with your mission statement: “Truth To You” for all of the above reasons you stated in your above post, Jono. I know you will continue to handle all guests and interviewers with top professionalism and honesty. 🙂

  35. Jeff Hill says

    I can respect that!

However, if there are as you put it, listeners that are insecure in their faith, and if you are a follower of Messiah Y’shua, you and me have more than an obligation to nurture them, and not purposefully sow confusion and doubt, just to give them an opportunity to test their discernment, that would be YHVH’s job. He knows how much to test, and by what means a Truth-seeker should be tested.

In the spirit of freedom of information, and the spirit of allowing this listener to discern, where do you stand on Messiah Y’shua?

  36. jeanie says

    Hello, Jono
I’m a newer listener and have been challenged by the shows I’ve listened to so far. I have heard that you can have 2 Jews speaking together and get 3 opinions and I heard that from a Jewish source. Therefore, I would like to hear not only from a counter missionary but also from a Jew who became a believer. After all, before Christianity there was this Jewish thing going on in the book of Acts that was exclusively Jewish until Peter shared with Cornelius.

  37. Jeff Hill says

I’m not trying to embarrass you or show you up or make you feel uncomfortable in any way. I come to this site with one assumption, and if my assumption is incorrect, it needs to be corrected, that’s all. I will respect whatever answer you give.

  38. jeanie says

PS To be crystal clear I meant someone who lived their entire life as a practicing Jew, going to synagogue regularly and all that. Someone who continued in the Torah and did not pick up pagan traditions. Not, anyone who found out they were Jewish and then tried to restore their lost heritage.

  39. jono vandor says

    G’day Jeff,

I believe in the Scriptures and I fully expect all messianic prophecies spoken by Yehovah through His prophets to be fulfilled. May it be today! 🙂

  40. LKelly says

Alright! It seems obvious from the various threads ONE proposed question is about the messiah(s) – I see two other good questions. That makes three questions! 🙂

What –other- topics do people have questions about? I’d like to toss in marriage/divorce/separations, including variances for modern today such as: a “what if XYZ happened during life under a different movement/tradition, but now that has changed, how should current relationships be handled?”

Other topics of interest would be timeline on the “new” heaven/Earth, Kingdom, viewpoints on “heaven.” .. I will ponder others, but thus far as I come across a topic I’ve been looking things up, so it is hard to know what to ask when I don’t yet know what to ask! haha

  41. Krisi says

I would like to know why they deny Yeshua in the first place. I know he hasn’t restored the kingdom yet but that goes in hand with the suffering messiah and the conquering messiah(ben Joseph bs Ben David). Also for anyone who has eyes to see…Yehovah is restoring the kingdom right now before our eyes THROUGH Yeshua!! Once He opened our eyes to see who Yeshua actually said he was then we have allowed Yeshua to bring us back to Torah and back to the Father and we see the 2 sticks coming together on common ground RIGHT NOW!!! I know Yeshua is my messiah in who Yehovah has used to get me to Him. I used to keep pagan holidays, not keep the sabbath, and believe the “old” testament was done away with. How can anyone deny that once my eyes were opened to what my messiah said he was that he has not brought me back to the Father?? Therefore, he IS my messiah. I’d like to know why they fail to see this restoration happening and that it is infact through Yeshua. Upon truth Yeshua will come back and bring us from all corners and restore the kingdom. I’d like to know how they think another messiah could accomplish the restoration of the kingdom when its happening right NOW before everyones eyes. We are the Body of messiah and he said destroy this temple and i will rebuikd it (speaking of his body)..hosea says Yehovah will revive us after 2 days we will be raised up in the 3rd day. We are apparently in the 3rd day because We are being revived an this is the ONLY sign Yeshua said we Would recieve in this generation. 3 days is throughout old and new testament EVERYWHERE (pharoahs dreams..after 3 days fruitful Restored to kingdom, 3 days birds eat bread/food cut off), sanctify self after 3 days come before mountain (trumpet sound), 3 days Mary and joseph found Yeshua after looking for him, 3 days was when wedding was, after 3 days Yeshua appeared to them and gave them bread (word) and their eyes were opened…on and one I’ve learned sooo many things and I am very greatful. Thanks.

  42. Chava says

Thanks for your thoughtful answer Jono— but why do you always skirt the question? If you indeed do not believe Yeshua is Messiah, why not simply come clean with your audience about that?

We love to hear Nehemia Gordon, a Karaite for example, and we would continue to love to hear you also if you espouse that religion. I for one, do not have any desire to speak evil against you or anyone for their faith.

Because in your own words that you have a responsibility to “freely supply information to your listeners for their evaluation,” please tell us if you believe in Yeshua Messiah. Or not. It is really quite simple.

When you say you did not ask your listeners to “hear” the anti-missionary/anti-Yeshua, you are perhaps being coy.

When you ask your listeners if they want to ask questions, it follows that you ask them to hear the response, which we know will showcase charges that Yeshua is not Messiah. Turn on your television; walk down any street: the world is full of those who deny Yeshua Messiah–I feel absolutely no obligation to assist.

I am in agreement with Jeff Hill when he says ” . . . if you are a follower of Messiah Y’shua, you and me have more than an obligation to nurture them, and not purposefully sow confusion and doubt, just to give them an opportunity to test their discernment . . . “

  43. Krisi says

When I say we are in the 3rd day I mean from Yeshua (as in apparently it’s been over 2000 years..as a day is a thousand years in scripture) psalm 90:4, 2 Peter 3:8

  44. Krisi says

So I’d like to know (I know the anti-missionary won’t go by new testament verses) an there’s other old testament ones in ref to 3 days (but off hand I can’t think of it) but what’s their interpretation of the pharoahs servants dreams (after 3 days)? And if they say it was just for that incident it can’t be because we see it as prophetic in Hosea. So after the days from what it not messiah? Because the 2nd and 3rd millennium is long gone.

  45. Krisi says

Hi Jono! Sorry I’m posting again lol. I just realized this could refer to the return to Israel as well but I think we can all agree the restoration isn’t yet full. Therefore I believe there’s more to it than 1948 and 1967. I’m excited and can’t wait for the second exodus 🙂

  46. vicki tate says

Thank you for this open forum. I think the confusion is a semantics issue. But also because it hinges upon your conversation with KK, our beloved foodie. I am in complete agreement with Jeff Hill, and here is why. As a follower of Yeshuah Ha Meshiach , pardon the spelling, I am increasingly protective of what , to me is fundamental. All Messianich s are not on the same page, by any means. And while we have a lot to learn from each other’s view point, ie; N. Gordon , we must not let that emalgomate us into one “whatever feels good” kind of group. I listen to this, as one of my favorite sites. But I must say, on this site as on so many other of my usual haunts, I hear more and more of who Yeshuah is not and less and less of who he IS. As we reach back to our roots, let us not forget what the roots support.

  47. Krisi says

I wanted to add this: Matthew 11:2-7 Now when John had heard in prison the works of Messiah, he sent two of his disciples, And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another? Yeshua answered and said unto them, Go and show John again those things which ye do hear and see:
The BLIND receive their sight, and the lame WALK, the lepers are CLEANSED, and the deaf HEAR, the dead are RAISED up, and the poor have the GOSPEL preached to them. And blessed is he, whoever shall not be offended in me.

Is this NOT what is happening NOW?? That’s why I say this is the only sign he says we will see in this 3rd day. 🙂 He is healing us spiritually right now.

JONO: Someone asked, and I will reiterate, “Are you a Karaite (or some other sect of Jew, and no longer a Christian)?” I’ve followed you since the old archived interviews with Brad Scott and it was clear that the Church, particularly branches of the Charismatic Church, have hurt you, and I could be wrong, but it seems you’ve adopted more and more Jewish ways. We’d just like to know if you and Channi have made the same conversion that Devorah and her husband made, from Christianity to Judaism. Fair question?

DEV: I see what you’ve said, above, and thanks, but I’ve always wanted to hear the HEART changes you made when you rejected your former Church “teachings.” Because in doing so, you rejected a PERSON, not a bunch of teachings. Unless you never had a heart knowledge and living, personal relationship with Yeshua, back when you were a Methodist. Can you speak to this question? I think it’s critical, because for those of us who have experienced Yeshua as savior and Lord and best friend and rescuer and counselor and shepherd – in addition to seeing that He fits the Biblical criteria of HaMashiach to a tee – cannot deny Him because of intellectual arguments to the contrary. What’s been the heart change/journey for you, rejecting Yeshua the person who claimed to be Messiah and the One in whom you had to believe in order to be a Methodist, in your conversion, please?

Devorah, I went thru that “God chaser” stage also! Now you have my interest peaked! Thou almost persuadest me to be a Karaite! Actually I think that my base beliefs are real close to what you all believe. ..loved the show! Awesome! May Yehovah’s truth and His way be known. I am not concerned so much with having a label like Christian, Jew, Karaite Jew, etc. My main concern right now is learning what Yehovah’s word really teaches in the Hebrew Scriptures and obeying Him. I am over religion. I just want to know my heavenly Father. Waiting on His kingdom of shalom.

G’day Becky, In answer to your question, I have not converted to Karaite Judaism nor have I ever professed to being a Karaite, Messianic, or a Christian for that matter. I am, however, Jewish of Hungarian descent and I worship the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the Torah and in the Prophets.
