Enough of Politically correctness stop tip toeing around theological land mines and call it like it is! Paul was talking about “JESUS” or “YESHUA” not YEHOVAH! As a Rabbinical Jew he knew the name of the ONLY GOD YHVH, so if he was referring to YHVH he would have said so, but who did he mention??? JESUS! He was not referring to the meaning of YESHUA/YEHOSHUA that is BULL! That is nothing else but YOUR man made interpretation/opinion. That is not a fact so let’s not give those pinning their hopes on a false god and false messiah the idea to twist Paul’s writing to mean that he was not a Greek mythology influenced Jew and that he was speaking of YHVH, BULL! He was a false prophet, forget about calling Paul a prophet; he was never called a prophet, prophets are those who YEHOVAH talks to through dreams and visions (Num 12:6) And in the Christian book there is nothing about “Thus Yehovah said” or “Yehovah spoke to” The “New Testament” is nothing but Man’s word, NOT YEHOVAH’S WORD!

SgtKRG, I’d have to disagree with you on that last part about the New Testament not being YEHOVAH’S word. If you believe that YESHUA/Jesus is YEHOVAH’s Son, then every word that Jesus spoke, were the words of YEHOVAH. Especially when he was teaching the people. Although Paul certainly was NOT a prophet, he did relay the words that Jesus spoke.

Paul was every bit as much a prophet as is anyone who teaches the truth of Yehovah. YOU and JONO and Keith and Nehemia are prophets of Yehovah. Every so often even THIS blind squirrel finds an acorn of truth to tell forth. I seriously doubt if any of us had been given a direct revelation of future events, but we have ALL shared Yehovah’s truth through exhortation and warning to his people. That is a prophet’s job.

We are used to call a prophet anyone who speaks Yehovah’s word, but the true concept of what is a prophet according to YHVH and not what man think is in the Tanack very clearly. HE chooses who will speak for HIM, not us and just because we speak the written word it doesn’t make me or anybody a prophet!
Prophets=YHVH mouth piece as directed by HIM not anyone who can recite the scriptures!
Also, he subtracted and added words to YHVH’s word and that is directly against TORAH, I am not speaking of paraphrasing but literally took away and added a lot of things that were not said by YHVH in the Tanack and he did it and thus changed the whole meaning of the true message, go find every so call old testament quote by anyone in the so call new testament and compare it with the old testament and if you can with the Hebrew and don’t just compare the verse but read the whole section, it might take a couple of chapters to get the full historical/linguistic and context of it! and if you don’t see it or don’t even want to do it, then again, I respectfully agree to disagree! May Yehovah open our eyes that we may see the wondrous things of HIS TORAH! Amen.

It sounds like you are finding what I ran into a while back. While comparing scriptures in the NT that are referenced from the Tanakh I found what I considered major issues. What I then found was that the writers of the NT were quoting the Septuagint and not the Masoretic Text (which didn’t exist then). Most versions of the Bible today are using an Old Testament based upon the Masoretic Text which has issues with the Septuagint. Given that the Septuagint is 1,000 years older than the Masoretic Text I prefer to do my studying using the older book. And the scriptures in the NT line up quite nicely with the Septuagint.
If you want (IMHO) a great Bible, check out the Apostolic Bible Polyglot. You can download a PDF version of it free off of the website.
If you believe the NT is not of YHVH then you might want to study the prophecies in it and see for yourself [Matt 24 & Rev]. Only the mouth piece of YHVH could predict these things with this accuracy. We can see prophecy playing out before our eyes.

Como on, let’s not forget the historical facts. That church was instituted by Emperor Constatine. He ordained an imperial religion for all the Roaman empire at the Nicean counsel. He did it on the bvases of his faith in Mitraism. All roman emperor with military background were Mitra worshipers, so was Constatine,as his father was also a general, just as he fought under his father’s command in Britain.
Remember, according to the present Roamn Cathalic church, Constatine submitted the doctrine of the sages voted on at the end of the counsel, to “Jesus” in heaven. So that nade him the very first pope.
There is a lot of mistranslation of thet Byblos since the Nicean counsel. Also ,the Roman Cath,Church altered it in the XVI century, when Johannes Gutenberg started printing and publishing that book. The “Gospel of James” ,one of those 11 books elliminated by the pope had cleared up the entire pagan dogma about the young Hashidic rabbi (Jashua) .Since James named his mother’s father and mother, even his great grandfather.
John 1;1- 6 is translated in reverse since the 5 century. But verse 18 does clear up any misconceptions.
I think one needs to find out the trueth by going to the records of history.

However, you will never reach Catholics with this mocking sarcastic presentation. “To be perfect as I AM perfect” I understand relates to being “tamim” whole and mature. The introduction/presentation of the material lacks “maturity”. The Younger Testament is a mess. The Original Language is no longer there in any reliable form. From what I understand, the various Hebrew Matityahus don’t all agree perfectly. There is one major deception that has corrupted both Christianity and Judaism. The Old Testament “God” (YHWH) is NOT the same being as The Almighty Father that Jesus/Yahushua worshipped, did the will of and taught us to pray to. They are COMPLETELY in accordance. This “angel” wanted to be worshipped as God. The same M.O., complete with fire, signs and wonders was used with another big religion as well. As Jesus said, no man has EVER seen The Father AND by their fruits you shall know them. There is only one being that kills, steals and destroys. The scriptures are wonderful because they DO tell you what happened, it’s just not the way we think or have interpreted it. I can promise you this, Jesus got it completely right, he would NEVER tell anyone to slaughter a village, rape the women and smash the babies heads on the rocks and take their belongings. It’s very obvious when you use Jesus as your yardstick for right and wrong.
This supposed god DID give us the Commandments which we are to follow and then led the Israelites into breaking them. He followed everything to the literal letter of the law and NOT the spirit of the law. The wages of sin is death, yes, but Jesus meant the wages of sin is not having everlasting life, not stoning someone to death. He led the Israelites to a physical Promised Land, Jesus leads us to his Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven when he returns. There is example after example, all you have to do is open your eyes.
Christianity tries hard to reconcile the unreconcilable, sometimes claiming the “I Will Be – I Am” being of the Torah who also said, I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour (Isaiah 43:11) can somehow can be Jesus. No way, Jose. If it walks like a duck…
There is one other option though. That YHWH actually IS God, but it’s more a vocabulary issue. We do know that Satan tempted Jesus with all the kingdoms of the world. Jesus NEVER debated his (temporary) authority. But there’s no way that this being is the same one as The Father.
Sue, i hope im not out of place by saying you seem to be in a struggle coming to grips with how our creator endorsed behaviour in ancient times. Ever heard of the saying: when in rome…?
It was a tough life and our creator didnt endorse the fairy attitude that we see today, otherwise His chosen people would have been slaughtered at every turn.
I heard the same verse quoted (dash the babies heads on the rocks) on ABC Q&A with a live audience when a guest used this verse alone to establish the type of “person” our creator is. This argument was then used to congratulate and applaud a gay catholic preacher who was inferring jesus was gay also with huge applause from the audience and then claimed we now have a different god of love and the god of the OT was finished. It was sickening to watch what sort of society we are becoming.
A christian preacher also on the Q&A panel was useless and couldnt counter these claims with any semblance of authority.
I hope you continue to dig for answers, because frankly i dont think your remotely close with this hypotheseis.
I note you didnt quote a verse that would support this tangled idea, rather suggesting to us to open our eyes. Id rather be blind and read the OT in braille than have eye sight and read only the NT. Because we all know how duped the NT only crowd are.
Oh and Nemhenia, if you read these posts, I was watching the open door series again last week on the teaching of the Aaronic blessing. I was shocked and amazed when i got up out of my chair when finished. For the previous 6-8 weeks, everytime (every single time) i sat or lifted myself out of a chair, the pain in my lower back would make me utter bad words in pain. After the teaching i lifted myself up fully anticipating the pain but there was none. During the course of that teaching i also paused to add the vowel points to our creators name which i had written 2 years earlier on a A4 sheet of paper which resides atop of my PC tower at arms length. That was about 2 weeks ago and still there is no back pain. Thankyou for that teaching and i can assure you, i do feel blessed!

Most of the time, we say mistranslation, translation agenda, misinterpretation, and manipulation of YHWH’s Word, ‘sleight of hand’ is very appropriate as one need to be so attentive, sharp, alert or discerning to catch what’s going on.

Ought to be an eye-opener to Christianity, as to the name ‘Jesus’, when in Hebrew it means Salvation, and clearly not a foreign Greek meaningless name. Also, in most languages, Messiah’s name is Yeshua, and not “jesus”. Names can not be changed for whatever reason, in whatever language, it has to follow as close a pronunciation as possible, and always recognizable, e.g. Peking (Cantonese dialect), Beijing.is in Mandarin.

Thank you for bringing Nehemia and Keith on to discuss this very important topic. One thing keeps coming to mind these days as I hear discussions of “the Name” as it pertains to Messiah and that is the concept of a “power of attorney”.
Could not we say that the Torah is the Father’s power of attorney in which the Son, “Yah saves” came to live and abide by as an example of how we are to live and abide by? As every company has a set of by-laws that the CEO who holds the company’s power of attorney must abide by, did not this concept come directly from the relationship between the Father and the Son? The Father who created the company so to speak and the Son, the Word of God, who goes forth to make sure all who live and work within that which the Father created, are made aware of these by-laws in order to live by them as the Son lives by them? How many times have we heard, “shall live by” in both the Tanakh and the NT in regards to the by-laws of God’s company that is His creation?
Yeshua said that all that is the Father’s was given to Him. Yeshua said that He does and speaks nothing but that which the Father gives Him to do & speak. So is not Yeshua telling us that He is the CEO appointed by the Father to practice that which the Father gave Him, in order to teach all mankind about the wonderful ways that are the by-laws of the Father’s company that is the Father’s creation?
The Son came proclaiming the Father, in name, thought, word and deed. He sought no glory of His own or reward of His own as all that the Son was, is and will be has been before the Father’s company called creation was even realized in the physical in which we live today. The Son is merely the example of how a good employee, the CEO appointed by the Father, guards and protects all that the Father gave to Him to oversee in order that the Father’s company is not destroyed. The Son came to restore the Father’s good name, in order that the Father’s good name is not brought to naught thereby bringing the Son’s name to naught.
Well, this is just my take on the subject. Until the world realizes just who is the One who actually holds the reigns of all those whom He appointed, the lie that the Son came and changed that which the Father gave Him to protect in order to teach others to protect and teach as the Son protects and teaches, the destroyer of the world will continue to move & work swiftly to destroy the Father’s company that is all of creation. We see this every day. People in authority break laws and yet are not held accountable but rather are rewarded for breaking the laws.
What an upside down and twisted world we live in. I truly believe we are living in “the end days” and that our generation will see His authority re-established and there is going to be a whole lot of weeping and nashing of teeth by those who rejected His truth in order to love and cling to the lies of the pretender ceo that began all the corruption and through his lies, continues bringing forth much destruction of the Father’s company called creation.
SgtKRG, just want to clarify that Yeshua/Jesus did claim that His words were from YHVH. Check out John 12:49-50 “For I have not spoken on My own authority, but the Father Who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak. And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father as told me, so I speak.”
