I appreciate your input as I am a theologian that was caught up in the Christian story even becoming a Baptist minister . Your website helped me beyond words to get the story straight. I have just published a book though lulu.com called Exploding the Christian myth .This book details more than 30 passages that claim that Jesus was foretold in the Hebrew text. I have added the pagan roots of the story as well as a section detailing the ludicrous claim that Jesus fulfilled the law regarding the sacrifice for sin . This definitive book will provide a good resource from an independent source. Any comments or advice would be greatly appreciated . Godfrey

    I never thought I’d say it but…..

    I love my Rabbis!
    Thank you, Michael and Jono

Truly a light to the Nation in this Dark time.

You know what this is really telling me, and what I am seeing. I hope so because I don’t *lol*

    Isaiah 52
15 So shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.

No matter how much we yell, or scream the truth from the roof tops… The people will not hear it, they will not see it. They will not even consider it, until this happens. I think that goes way back to Daniel 2….

They will not understand, until the stone cut out without hands, will crush this kingdom!
I am just struggling with, what is this stone? is it us, or is it G-d Himself… What is this stone? And how far off am I?

never mind, I was enlightened 😀

How on earth can any logical person agree with this interpretation? YHVH said He was “pleased to crush him”. This means the Holocaust/Shoah was God’s diabolical plan and He was pleased to do so in order for the Gentiles to be redeemed somehow by the destruction of His own people!! Absolute insanity!

The entire theme of this teaching was that Israel is being judged because of the sins of the nations. The Torah tells us clearly that His people will suffer diaspora until repentance and true Torah observance. The teacher only briefly tries to tie back in the Torah verses about Israel’s rebellion after basically dismissing Israel’s lack of Torah observance. Suggesting that the Gentiles were the ones at fault but “went to far” is just plain silly. YHVH says that He was pleased to bring this calamity upon “the servant”.

I feel like I’m taking crazy pills.

Moses said that blood is necessary for atonement of sin. Rabbis’ instructions to say certain prayers on Yom Kippur do not equal blood. When no temple existed, Abraham, Noah, and even Adam knew and practiced blood sacrifices. That Yah would come Himself to be the perfect sacrifice that these clean animals through thousands of years represented, makes the best of sense. And since there has been no temple since 70 AD, “If not Yeshua of Nazareth, then who else?” is a valid question. Many believers in Him have many things wrong (like Christmas), but the New T. does not urge believers to celebrate His nativity. If they are wrong, then you accept Messiah and do it right or better.
