Hi Jono, i have a question in regards to Shemini… i was hoping to write before you recorded this program.
I have a femal friend that is studying medicine, and she asked in regards of touching dead animals, since they practice (sewing) with some dead animals. I know that, as there is no temple it should not be a big deal, but then she told me they practice with Pork dead bodys as well, for almost all animals (unclean) it just say you should wait until nigth and wash; but with pork i saw a difference on the text with a prohibition… what do you think??

G’day Memoca, I believe we touched on this topic in Season 1 of Torah Pearls. As I recall, we are not permitted to touch the carcass of the pig, the camel, the shafan, or the hare.

About leprosy…why did God choose leprosy as the 2nd miracle when Moses put his hand into his bosom? Exo. 4: 6-7
